📜 Terms and Conditions – Papa J’s Wood & Slate

1. General

Papa J’s Wood & Slate is a UK-based business specialising in custom laser-engraved products, including commemorative slates and bespoke designs. By placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Custom Orders

  • All custom designs must be confirmed in writing before production begins.

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate spelling, dates, and design details. Papa J’s Wood & Slate is not liable for errors once artwork is approved.

  • We reserve the right to refuse designs that contain offensive, copyrighted, or inappropriate content.

3. Design Ownership & Licensing

  • Papa J’s Wood & Slate holds MOD licensing for specific heraldic badges and emblems. Use of these designs is strictly controlled.

  • All original artwork, layouts, and engravings remain the intellectual property of Papa J’s Wood & Slate unless otherwise agreed.

4. Payment & Pricing

  • Full payment is required before production begins unless otherwise agreed.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice but will be honoured once an order is confirmed.

  • All prices are in GBP.

5. Production & Lead Times

  • Standard lead time is 7–14 working days from design approval. Custom or bulk orders may take longer.

  • Rush orders may be accommodated at an additional cost, subject to availability.

6. Delivery & Shipping

  • UK delivery is available via Royal Mail or courier services. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

  • Papa J’s Wood & Slate is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers.

7. Returns & Refunds

  • Due to the personalised nature of our products, returns are only accepted for items that arrive damaged or incorrect.

  • Claims must be made within 7 days of receipt, with photographic evidence.

  • Refunds or replacements will be issued at our discretion.

8. Product Care

  • Engraved slate products are for decorative use and should be handled with care.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, or abrasive cleaning materials.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

  • Customer information is used solely for order processing and communication. We do not share or sell personal data.
